American Hard Maple Blocks - "the real deal"

This Kit is designed to supply the blocks recommended in Lester Walker's "Block Building for Children" which is sold elsewhere on this site.  Like all books of this type, it starts with a list of pieces that are required to build the projects in the book.  Included are the optional finials that the book recommends as well as the large quarter arches required to make certain buildings.    The Walker Kit is an excellent kit for children 3 years old.  At this age, children are able to stack blocks on top of one another, make towers, and enjoy seeing them fall over.  They are able to understand abstraction a good deal better, and will recognize that differently shaped triangles are still triangles.  They love to play with their parents and make things together.  They are first learning how a building might be assembled.
The kit does not include the book.
